The beautiful spot of Burc Beach, Istanbul, is set to host – for the 5th consecutive year – the Jim Beam Kiteboard World Cup, an event co-organized with our partner Playmakert, and sponsored by Jim Beam.
Following the first stages in Italy, the Jim Beam Kiteboard World Cup is the 2nd leg of this year KPWT circuit and sure to be one of the highlights of the 2006 kiteboard world cup season. Indeed, the 4 previous editions of the event proved very successfull, so this is with great pleasure that we’ll come back to Turkey and the spot of Burc Beach, which, besides offering all the infrastructures and hospitality, gathers the required riding conditions for a pro-level competition.
The opportunity for the top pro kiteboarders to gain points and fight for the world champion title.
The men and women competition boards will indeed gather the big “sizes” of international kiteboard, which promises a high quality show during the freestyle event, with a 30 000$ prize money at stake.

- Hang Time, Best Tricks
Moreover, this event will propose various aside activities especially set up for the event and the public to enjoy : initiation to kiteboarding, skate ramp, beach soccer, volley ball...and of course parties and concerts that will complete the event programme to be further detailed.
