Intro to Kiteboarding - Trainer Kite Flying, Safety & Gear
When: Wednesday, July 26 2006, 5-8 pm
Where: Hood River Marina, Hood River, Oregon
Hosted by the Women’s Kiteboarding Association (WKA)
Support and swag by Dakine, Girls 4 Sport, Big Winds, Naish Kites, Slingshot Kiteboarding and others!
Cost: FREE
Who This Clinic is for: Women new to kite flying and those who would like to expand and fine-tune their kite flying skills. Time will be on-land, learning and mastering kite skills, and discussing safety, wind, and gear options. This is not an intermediate clinic.
Includes:
- Use of trainer kites and harnesses - Provided by Dakine
- Trainer kite instruction from local and regional pro-riders
- Professional gear advice
- Sponsor swag!
- Women's Kiteboarding Association memberships will be available for purchase.
