PORTLAND - A Portland youth is skyrocketing his way up to stardome in kite boarding. Rocky Chatwell has won the PKRA North American Championship, and he's only been doing this for two years. Now, the golden boy is eyeing the world tour.
The 16-year-old blonde, doing his thing recently off the Portland shoreline in Corpus Christi Bay. As you can see, Rocky Chatwell, has it. You may have seen him competing in the Velocity Games, but winning the Pro Kite Riding Association North American Title is big stuff. It's his greatest moment.
"By far, yes. I'm totally stoked about it. I did the best I could," said Chatwell."
