EVENTS Kite Board X:
Kite Board X: This event will consist of a Set course using markers and obstacles. The riders must make their way around the course using skills of both downwind & upwind tacking as well as jumping a set obstacle as they go. This is a race run in heats of 4 and will be judged on the fastest time. Freestyle: Using the flat water sections of the event location, the freestyle event will run in divisional heats and judged on a number of aspects of the riders ability.
Downwind Dash for cash: This event will involve all riders racing to a downwind mark. The basic idea is to get over the line first to score $$$. Nomination cost: $75.00 (Please fax rego forms to the below fax number asap)

ACCOMODATION Clarion Hotel Mackay Marina- 1800 386386 The Clarion Hotel is a four and a half star Hotel located at the Mackay Harbour at the northern end of east point (competition location). We are working on getting a discounted corporate rate for all competitors, so let them know you are with the kite event when making reservations. Central Tourist Park- (07) 49 576141 The Central Tourist Caravan Park is located in North Mackay about 7 minutes drive to the Mackay Harbour. We have put a hold on 20 villas. These villas are $90 p/room p/n and sleep 4 people. Please call Central Tourist park as soon as possible to secure a villa. Pleas also advise reception that you are part of the event.
